Assistance to Those Affected in Odesa
As a result of the Russian strike on the centre of Odesa, ten people were injured, and eight residential buildings, eight cars, and an administrative building were damaged.
The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Odesa region was on site following the strike. Volunteers, alongside first responders, evacuated residents from the damaged buildings and transported them to medical facilities in the city. They also provided first aid and psychological first aid to the victims at the scene. A mobile aid station was set up where residents of the affected buildings could charge their devices and receive hot drinks.
In addition, volunteers distributed plastic sheeting and tarpaulins for temporary repairs to the damaged homes.
