Nearly 4,300 food parcels were delivered to residents of Kherson last week
In collaboration with the World Food Programme, volunteers from the Kherson regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross distributed food parcels to the most vulnerable populations in Kherson, specifically those aged 60 and over and people with disabilities.
Each food parcel weighs 13 kilograms and includes grains, pasta, flour, canned meat, oil, sugar, salt, and beans.
“We regularly distribute food parcels across various parts of the city. This initiative is crucial because it helps people feel that they are not alone. Despite the ongoing shelling and danger, we continue our work because we know it is needed,” said Svitlana Shcherbyna, WFP Coordinator at the Kherson regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross.
We stand by those in need!
