A visit to monitor the Ukrainian Red Cross mobile health unit’s activities took place in the Zakarpattia region

Vahram Vardanyan, delegate of the Austrian Red Cross, Christian Dimt, health delegate, and Liudmyla Sorokina, regional coordinator of mobile health units and a mini-clinic of the Ukrainian Red Cross, visited the village of Protyven. The shelter in Protyven currently houses 93 internally displaced persons. During their visit, the delegates reviewed the work of the mobile health unit and spoke with patients. 

On that day, 34 patients received consultations, examinations, and free medicines from the doctor. The mobile health unit of the Khust district now covers 15 villages and has provided over 7,000 consultations since its launch. The unit’s activities are carried out in cooperation with the Primary Health Care Centre and with the support of the Austrian Red Cross.
