The Ukrainian Red Cross participated in the Job Fair for internally displaced persons

The Ukrainian Red Cross, as one of the responsible Ukrainian employers, participated in the Job Fair for IDPs in Kyiv.

During the event, visitors had the opportunity to:

  • Learn about current vacancies and professional development opportunities.
  • Explore an exhibition of start-ups and new projects.
  • Attend training and pitching sessions on successful employment and entrepreneurship.
  • Engage in networking events.
  • Meet successful IDP entrepreneurs who have established businesses after displacement and receive valuable advice from them.

Representatives of the Ukrainian Red Cross introduced the main areas of work and current vacancies within the country’s largest humanitarian organisation, including those related to wartime efforts.

The Job Fair enhances the integration and awareness of internally displaced persons and brings together the efforts of leading humanitarian organisations to coordinate assistance for IDPs.

The event was organised by the Kyiv City Employment Centre in collaboration with the CrimeaSOS NGO and with the support of the UN Refugee Agency in Ukraine and the Shevchenkivskyi IDP Council.
