Training in Psychological First Aid for Mobile Health Units under the #EU4Health Programme

One hundred eighty-nine representatives from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society’s mobile health units have been trained in Psychological First Aid (PFA) to provide effective support to the population. The training was conducted as part of the #EU4Health programme.  

Residents of remote areas, where access to outpatient clinics and hospitals is difficult or non-existent, now have the opportunity to receive free qualified medical care, consult a doctor or psychologist, and, if necessary, receive prescription medicines and undergo additional examinations.  

Over the past two months, 25,000 consultations, including psychological ones, have been provided to residents in the Rivne, Volyn, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kyiv, Dnipro, Sumy, Chernivtsi, and Lviv regions.
