The Ukrainian Red Cross responds to another attack in Odesa

Overnight, the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Odesa region worked at the site of a Russian attack on Odesa alongside other emergency services.

Volunteers surveyed the area to identify people affected by the attack and provide assistance. They provided first aid to those injured and first psychological aid to people experiencing acute stress reactions.

Humanitarian assistance is currently being distributed to support residents whose homes were damaged in the attack.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a 25-storey residential building in Odesa was damaged in the Russian attack, with flats on the 21st to 23rd floors catching fire. According to the National Police of Ukraine, 38 people have so far been reported injured. Private homes and infrastructure in Chornomorsk were also damaged.
