Representatives of the World Health Organization visited the Ukrainian Red Cross Community Center in Zaporizhzhia

During the visit, the delegation learned more about the Center’s work and the services available to residents of Zaporizhzhia and internally displaced people.

The Center offers social and legal counselling, family doctor consultations, psychological support, restoring family links, and access to a rehabilitation space. It also provides first aid training, mine safety awareness sessions, digital literacy classes, and psychosocial support activities.

In addition, the Center runs specialised programmes for professionals focused on preventing burnout, provides space for partner organisations, and organises activities aimed at supporting the wider community.

The visit also provided an opportunity to discuss further cooperation and ways to support the local community.
