Ukrainian Red Cross vehicle damaged in a Russian air strike in the Zaporizhzhia region
A Ukrainian Red Cross mobile health unit vehicle was damaged in the village of Novomykolaivka, Zaporizhzhia region, following a Russian air strike involving guided aerial bombs.
The vehicle was used by the mobile health unit to deliver primary healthcare services to people living in the community.
No Ukrainian Red Cross staff members were injured.
We strongly condemn attacks on civilian infrastructure and humanitarian assets. Such attacks hinder the delivery of assistance to people who need it most.
Despite the ongoing danger and continued threat of attacks across the Zaporizhzhia region, Ukrainian Red Cross mobile health units continue their work, providing primary healthcare services to people in remote and affected communities.
