The Ukrainian Red Cross provided assistance at the sites of attacks in Mykolaiv

Yesterday, the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in the Mykolaiv region worked throughout the day alongside the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and other emergency services at sites affected by the latest attacks on the city.

Volunteers conducted door-to-door visits in the affected areas, provided the necessary assistance to people, including first aid and psychological first aid, and supported emergency response operations.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a woman was injured following a Russian strike on a residential area. At one location, a private house was damaged.

At another location, a repeated drone strike on the courtyard of a residential apartment building set a water tank and a kiosk on fire. During the evening’s combined Russian attack on Mykolaiv, an industrial enterprise and residential buildings were also damaged. Fires broke out at several locations, and people injured in the attacks received the necessary assistance.
