The Ukrainian Red Cross is responding to the aftermath of a large-scale attack in Kyiv and Kyiv region
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, nine people were killed as a result of the Russian attack during the night of 6 July. A further 43 people, including two children, were injured. At least 15 residential buildings were damaged or destroyed.
The Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response teams, working alongside the emergency services, are responding at the sites affected by the attack in two districts of the capital, as well as in Vyshneve, Kyiv region. Volunteers are conducting door-to-door assessments to identify affected people, delivering first aid to those injured, and providing psychological first aid to people experiencing acute stress reactions.
