The Ukrainian Red Cross is strengthening cooperation with the Red Cross of Moldova through the exchange of experience
These days, a delegation from the Red Cross of Moldova is on a working visit to Ukraine. This is not only a study visit, but also an opportunity for in-depth professional dialogue and joint exploration of solutions for the development of National Societies in today’s context.
Together with the Ukrainian Red Cross team, colleagues from Moldova are exploring approaches to organisational development and ways to strengthen institutional capacity. In particular, discussions focus on effective management and coordination, the development of key programme areas, and the introduction of modern approaches to supporting communities. The delegation is also visiting Ukrainian Red Cross branches to see how these approaches to organisational development and capacity strengthening are implemented in practice.
Special attention is given to the exchange of practical experience: how teams are developed, how internal processes are structured, how the organisation adapts to new challenges, and how it ensures continuity of its work even in the context of full-scale war.
Such visits are about trust, partnership and development. Today, it is important not only to share experience, but also to jointly shape effective approaches to assistance that help save lives, support people and strengthen community resilience.
