Yesterday, the Ukrainian Red Cross responded to the aftermath of another strike in the Cherkasy region

The Cherkasy regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, together with other emergency services, worked at the site of the strike in the Ruska Poliana community, Cherkasy region.

Volunteers and staff carried out a rapid needs assessment and distributed emergency shelter repair materials, including tarpaulins, plastic sheeting, foam, staples and nails. A Shelter Programme team will continue the response by documenting the damage and supporting affected households in accessing further assistance.

According to the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, in the Ruska Poliana community, debris and the blast wave damaged nine residential buildings and several vehicles. No casualties have been reported.
