Video: Mobile Bath and Laundry Unit in Lozova

In Lozova, Kharkiv region, the Ukrainian Red Cross operates a mobile bath and laundry unit, made possible with support from the Austrian Red Cross.

The unit travels to transit centres and hubs hosting people forced to leave their homes in conflict-affected areas. It is equipped with washing and drying machines, sinks, and three showers. Visitors receive free laundry detergent, fabric softener, shower gel, shampoo, soap, towels, disposable slippers, and other essential hygiene items.

“We evacuated after guided bombs hit our street and destroyed our homes. I had a head injury, and all my hair was covered in dust and debris. Here, I could use a shower with hot water,” says Oksana, who arrived in Lozova from the Donetsk region.
