Registration for the 2026 All-Ukrainian Tournament of Young Experts in IHL

The Ukrainian Red Cross announces the opening of registration for the All-Ukrainian Tournament on International Humanitarian Law (IHL) for school students.

Teams of four students from grades 9–11 of general secondary education institutions or vocational education institutions, together with one team leader (teacher), are invited to participate.

The tournament will take place 15–19 April 2026 in Kyiv.

The organiser will cover travel, accommodation and meal expenses.

Application deadline: 20 March 2026, 23:59 (Kyiv time).

Following the selection process, 12 teams will receive electronic invitations and preparation topics. The exact venue of the event will be communicated to participants at a later stage for security reasons.

Important: If a team participated in the 2025 tournament, at least 50% of the team members must be different for participation in the current tournament.

The tournament is organised by the Ukrainian Red Cross in partnership with the Office of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights and the Educational and Scientific Law Institute of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.
