11 communities in the Kherson region received equipment for volunteer fire brigades from the Ukrainian Red Cross

To enhance the safety of territorial communities in the Kherson region, the Ukrainian Red Cross has provided 20 sets of modern firefighting equipment and supplies for volunteer fire brigades.

In particular, the communities received 20 firefighting equipment boards, each equipped with essential tools and basic firefighting equipment. The assistance also included fire nozzles and hoses, fire extinguishers, fire blankets and other essential equipment. In addition, sets of uniforms for volunteers were provided.

The equipment provided will significantly strengthen the capacity of local and volunteer fire services in the region to respond to emergencies.

The initiative was implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross with support from the Spanish Red Cross, in cooperation with the Kherson Regional Military Administration and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
