This week, we welcomed Permanent Under-Secretary of the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office Sir Oliver Robbins
As a part of his trip to Kyiv, he visited a Ukrainian Red Cross heating point, where he saw first-hand how people affected by attacks on critical infrastructure are supported every day.
During the meeting, Sir Oliver Robbins was briefed on the key areas of the Ukrainian Red Cross’s work in the context of the full-scale war — from emergency response, evacuation and humanitarian assistance to psychosocial support and recovery efforts. He also had the opportunity to speak directly with local residents and hear their stories.
We sincerely thank the United Kingdom for its continued support and solidarity with Ukraine. Together with our partners, we remain alongside people — wherever help is needed most.
