The situation in Kyiv and the Kyiv region remains challenging: mobile warming centres have been operating for the fifth consecutive day.
Mobile warming centres established by the Ukrainian Red Cross and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) continue to provide assistance to the population. Our teams are working around the clock in areas where repeated attacks on energy infrastructure have left people without electricity, water, and heating.
In Kyiv, operations have been ongoing at three SES emergency response tents and one Ukrainian Red Cross tent on the left bank of the capital. All sites remain fully operational. Yesterday alone:
- 243 people recharged their mobile devices;
- 470 people received hot drinks;
- 166 children received psychosocial support;
- 690 hot meals were distributed.
A mobile warming centre is currently operating in Boryspil, where residents can receive hot meals and drinks, warm up, recharge electronic devices, and access psychological support.
We thank donors, partners in the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, and the U.S. Department of State for their support, provision of hot meals, and solidarity with Ukraine. Together, we are helping those who need it most.
