Zaporizhzhia: The Ukrainian Red Cross has been providing assistance in the aftermath of another attack

The emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Zaporizhzhia region, working alongside local emergency services, has been supporting response efforts at the strike sites across the city. Volunteers provided first aid to eight people at the scene, while three others in serious condition were transported to the hospital. Volunteers also offered psychological first aid to those affected.

Humanitarian assistance is currently being distributed on site by the Zaporizhzhia regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, including materials for the temporary repair of damaged homes.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia has left 18 people injured. Seven multi-storey residential buildings, a petrol station, a shop and several vehicles have been damaged.

Emergency response operations have now been completed.
