A national workshop, “Together for Effectiveness”, was held in the Lviv region for the Ukrainian Red Cross Physical and Mental Rehabilitation Unit
Over three days, specialists from 13 regions worked together to improve approaches to providing rehabilitation services in communities. The programme included panel discussions, presentations, practical sessions, group work, and the exchange of experience between regions. International partners supporting the development of rehabilitation services in Ukraine also took part in the discussions.
Participants discussed:
- standardising the operations of mobile rehabilitation units;
- case management and cooperation within communities;
- integrating psychosocial support;
- working with veterans;
- current challenges and partnership-based approaches.
The event was organised by the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross to strengthen coordination between regions, improve service quality, and develop shared solutions for effective work at the community level.
Together, we continue to develop rehabilitation services to ensure support is available to everyone who needs it.
