Since the beginning of the year, the fourth professional training course in BAS accounting has been completed in the Ivano-Frankivsk region as part of the Ukrainian Red Cross’s Reboot programme
Another group of participants has successfully completed training as accountants this year. Over the two-month course, they gained knowledge in:
- Tax declaration
- Lending
- Accounting for funds and foreign currency transactions
Participants also took part in practical exercises, which are essential for future employment. Accounting is a highly sought-after profession in the region, which will help participants find work more quickly in their local area.
The Ukrainian Red Cross’s “Reboot: Expanding Employment Opportunities” programme is implemented in the Ivano-Frankivsk region with the support of the Swiss Red Cross and the Spanish Red Cross. It is designed to assist people from vulnerable groups, including internally displaced persons, people with disabilities, veterans, and other at-risk populations. The programme enables them to learn a new profession or improve their skills, enhancing their employability and helping them secure work more rapidly.
At present, enrolment for new groups is paused. To take part in the Reboot programme in the future, please follow our announcements. More information is available on our website.
