Ukrainian Red Cross Volunteers Supporting Fire Response in Kyiv
The emergency response Unit team from the National Committee of the Ukrainian Red Cross is supporting firefighters from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) who are engaged in extinguishing the blaze in the Pecherskyi district of the capital.
At the site, volunteers have set up a support point where they provide responders with hot drinks, water and snacks, and remain on standby to deliver first aid if needed.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, more than 100 firefighters continued tackling the fire that broke out yesterday evening on the fourth floor of a residential building in Pechersk, Kyiv. No casualties or injuries have been reported.
