Providing Help and Hope: The Tracing Service of the Ukrainian Red Cross

Zlata is searching for the burial place of her son. According to her, he was killed in Mariupol in early March 2022.

After reaching out to the Restoring Family Links team in the Zaporizhzhia region, Zlata was able to submit a tracing request. She also received informational support and a food parcel. In addition, through the British Red Cross cash assistance programme, she received a financial payment that helped provide her family with essential items. Zlata and her husband are currently caring for their granddaughter, so this support has been especially important for them.

The Tracing Service of the Ukrainian Red Cross is doing everything possible to reunite separated families and support those searching for missing loved ones.
