Final of the Social Impact Award Ukraine 2025 Held at RED HUB
On 3 October, the business incubator RED HUB hosted the final of the international Social Impact Award Ukraine 2025. This initiative is Europe’s largest social entrepreneurship incubator for young people, helping them transform ideas into real start-ups by providing access to mentoring, training, and an international community of like-minded changemakers.
In Ukraine, the competition is held in ongoing partnership with the School of ME — a school of mindful entrepreneurship that promotes the development of entrepreneurial thinking among young people.
Holding the final at RED HUB was especially symbolic, as the space — created by the Ukrainian Red Cross — is dedicated to socially responsible business, innovative solutions, entrepreneurship, and education.
The event brought together finalists, mentors, experts, and guests, all united in their support for young social entrepreneurs. The vibrant atmosphere at RED HUB once again demonstrated that it is a place where new ideas are born and where Ukraine’s ecosystem of social innovation continues to grow.
Thanks to the Ukrainian Red Cross’s expertise in micro and small business development and start-up support, the organisation served not only as an event partner, but also contributed a representative to the jury. This representative helped evaluate the finalists’ projects, drawing on the organisation’s experience in creating sustainable programmes for both businesses and communities.
The finalists presented a diverse range of projects, each addressing key areas of social need. These included initiatives focused on environmental protection, educational programmes for children and young people, cultural platforms aimed at preserving Ukrainian identity and connecting Ukrainians around the world, as well as projects providing psychological and social support for families.
These initiatives reflect the creativity and determination of young people in Ukraine who are actively developing solutions to today’s social challenges.
We wish all the finalists continued success as they develop their ideas and work to build a more inclusive, resilient, and empowered society.
