New Sports Facilities Opened by the Ukrainian Red Cross in Kropyvnytskyi

Two new sports spaces have been opened at the Kirovohrad Mukhin Medical Professional College. These facilities will be used both for educational purposes and to promote the health and wellbeing of students, local school pupils, and residents. Another two sports areas have been launched at the Volodymyr Vynnychenko Central Ukrainian State University. The sports facilities are available both outdoors and indoors, allowing for physical activity in all weather conditions. Volunteer instructors from the college, who are also Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers, will provide guidance and support.

These sports facilities were established with the support of the Danish Red Cross as part of the Health Promotion and Disease Prevention programme, which aims to encourage an active lifestyle within the community. Regular exercise is not only vital for health but also builds resilience, energy, and recovery in these challenging times. This initiative makes a valuable contribution to the physical wellbeing of the community. Similar sports facilities will soon be opened in the Vinnytsia region.
