A training session titled “Countering Fraud and Corruption: Steps Towards Integrity” was recently held in Odesa for staff of the Odesa regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross

During the training, participants learned about:

• the fundamentals of risk management within the Ukrainian Red Cross
• key principles for preventing fraud and corruption
• the Code of Conduct as a foundation for ethical behaviour
• the functioning of the Ukrainian Red Cross’s Integrity Line
• approaches to managing conflicts of interest

The training was facilitated by the head and team members from the Risk Management Department of the Ukrainian Red Cross, who created a professional and interactive environment for discussing critical issues and identifying practical solutions.

The programme also included practical simulation exercises, allowing participants to better understand real-life challenges and practise effective ways to address them.
