Renovated Transit Centre for Evacuees Now Operating in the Dnipro Region
Since the end of August, a renovated transit centre offering more comfortable conditions for evacuees from the Donetsk region and frontline villages in the Dnipro region has been operating in Pavlohrad. The facility can accommodate up to 130 people, with an average of 100 individuals passing through it regularly.
At the centre, the Ukrainian Red Cross provides support in the form of food parcels, hygiene kits, towels, bed linen, and adult incontinence products. First aid and psychological first aid are also available when needed. In addition, with support from the Ukrainian Red Cross, three mobile shelters have been set up on the premises to protect against blast waves and shrapnel.
Personnel from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are stationed at the centre, while other humanitarian and charitable organisations, together with local authorities, provide further assistance.
