In Lutsk, the Ukrainian Red Cross Active Longevity Club joins a unique major sports event

The 8th International Summer Seniors Festival “Sport for All for the Sake of Health” is taking place at the Viktor Zavatskyi Stadium in Lutsk, Volyn region. This unique event combines recreational and large-scale sports activities for people aged 50 and over.

Nearly 300 participants from various regions of Ukraine are taking part in the two-day event, which includes:

• Athletic competitions, including races over various distances
• Table games and strength-based activities
• Intellectual games
• A literary performance, and more

Members of the Ukrainian Red Cross Active Longevity Club joined the event for the first time. It was a valuable experience for them and an opportunity to introduce the club to others — a space where older adults can grow, learn, and lead active lives.

The Seniors Festival is organised by the University of the Third Age and aims to support older generations who wish to maintain an active lifestyle, improve their emotional wellbeing, and make new friends.
