Training Underground: Kametstal Steel Plant Workers Learn First Aid
In times of war, it is vital to know how to save lives. To gain and develop these essential skills, Kametstal has continued training its employees in first aid, with courses led by instructors from the Ukrainian Red Cross.
The two-day training covered 12 modules, ranging from assessing a casualty’s condition to performing CPR, managing bleeding and injuries, and transporting the injured. For participants’ safety, the sessions were held in the company’s protective shelter. Instructors demonstrated how to respond effectively to critical situations involving both adults and children — knowledge that is crucial not only in the workplace but also in daily life.
In total, around 60 Kametstal employees received intensive first aid training in June and July.
