Over 400 Visits: How Ukrainian Red Cross Mobile Rehabilitation Units Are Supporting People in the Poltava Region

In November 2024, the Poltava regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, with support from the British Red Cross, launched mobile rehabilitation units.

Since then:

• 444 home visits to beneficiaries have taken place
• 60 training participants and 22 caregivers have been trained in how to care for their loved ones
• 228 rehabilitation aids have been provided free of charge

These mobile units ensure that everyone, regardless of where they live, has equal access to quality physical rehabilitation. Specialists travel directly to people’s homes, delivering care in a familiar and comfortable environment.
