In the Poltava region, the Ukrainian Red Cross has launched a health promotion and disease prevention campaign
A team of 19 health consultants has been trained to conduct information sessions, practical workshops, and motivational interviews for local residents and members of the Ukrainian Red Cross team. Their work is focused on encouraging healthy habits and preventing common illnesses.
During the two-day training, participants gained knowledge about healthy lifestyles, nutrition, and more. They also learned how to measure blood pressure and calculate body mass index.
The consultants have already begun their first activities, sharing knowledge and practical skills to help people take better care of their health. The initiative is being implemented with the support of the Canadian Red Cross.
