In Poltava, floristry courses have been launched as part of the Ukrainian Red Cross “Reboot: Expanding Employment Opportunities” programme
Residents of Poltava from vulnerable groups have begun training in floristry as part of the Reboot programme.
The aim of the course is to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills needed to find employment or start their own floristry business in their local area.
Participants will gain both theoretical and practical knowledge in:
- the basics of floral design
- bouquet-making techniques
- plant care
Floristry is not only a creative profession but also one that is in demand on the labour market, particularly in the Poltava region. It offers opportunities for professional growth and employment in flower shops, decorating studios, and event planning services. For many, learning this trade can provide a stable income and mark the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. The programme is being implemented in the Poltava region with the support of the Spanish Red Cross.
