The Ukrainian Red Cross shared its experience in responding to the full-scale war in Ukraine at the Humanitarian Preparedness Conference in Vilnius
The Deputy Director General of the Ukrainian Red Cross, Illya Kletskovskyy, took part in the Red Cross Baltic Humanitarian Preparedness Conference held in Vilnius.
In his address, Illya Kletskovskyy shared the Ukrainian Red Cross’s experience in responding to the humanitarian consequences of the full-scale invasion. He outlined how the organisation prepared for and adapted its response system to meet the scale of the crisis in Ukraine. His presentation covered key areas of preparedness, the strengthening of the organisation’s support role, and its effective coordination with government agencies and international partners. He also highlighted how the Ukrainian Red Cross is building the capacity of local communities to tackle humanitarian challenges during the ongoing war.
