Mine Risk: Training for Students at Kolomyia Institute

A mine risk specialist from the Kolomyia district branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross conducted an information session for students of the Kolomyia Institute of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. During the session, participants learned how to protect themselves in the event of encountering mines or explosive devices.

Main topics covered:

  • Types of explosive devices and their impact on life and health.
  • How to recognise dangerous areas and avoid them.
  • A step-by-step guide on actions to take in the event of a threat.
  • Why is it important?

Knowledge saves lives. These information sessions not only raise awareness of the risks but also teach how to respond correctly in critical situations.

Be aware – stay safe!
