Elderly People Awaiting Assistance: Support Programme for Kherson Residents

Kherson is one of the cities where elderly Ukrainians face the greatest challenges. It is dangerous to walk the streets, as you can come under enemy fire at any moment. As a result, every trip to the shops is potentially dangerous.

Understanding this, and in partnership with the World Food Programme, we regularly deliver food parcels to elderly citizens. The deliveries are made directly to the courtyards of residential buildings or to locations that can be reached in just a few minutes.

“Thank you very much for your support, thank you for not forgetting us. I wish the volunteers good health and all the best,” says Tamara, a pensioner from Kherson, who has once again received a food parcel.
