The Ukrainian Red Cross has delivered 3D displays on “Mines and Explosive Ordnance” to the Zhytomyr and Chernihiv regions

The Humanitarian Access and Protection Department of the Ukrainian Red Cross, with the support of the Italian Red Cross, continues to deliver 3D information and visual displays on “Mines and Explosive Ordnance” to communities.

Recently, these displays were received by:

  • The Centre for National and Patriotic Education, Tourism, and Local History in Chernihiv.
  • The City Cultural and Sports Centre of the Zhytomyr City Council.

Children and young people are the group that interacts most with the environment. They play, explore, and travel, which increases their risk of exposure to hazardous objects. Informing them from an early age fosters a responsible attitude towards their own safety and the safety of others. As they grow, young people become carriers of knowledge within their families — by sharing information with parents, friends, and acquaintances about potential risks, they help reduce the likelihood of tragic accidents.

This initiative is an important step towards preventing threats and fostering a culture of safe behaviour among citizens. Together, we are making our communities more aware and protected!

We stand by those in need!
