In Kyiv, the Ukrainian Red Cross team organised a donor drive that collected 34 litres of donated blood for patients in need
Before Christmas, the Obolon district branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross in Kyiv organised a Donor Day in collaboration with the Kyiv Regional Blood Centre. On the eve of the holidays, 80 people took an hour out of their day to donate blood for those whose treatment and survival depend on timely transfusions.
This is a great achievement, as 80 blood donors contributed 34 litres of blood, which can help more than 200 people. An inspiring example of holiday volunteering.
