Restoration of the Paediatric Cardiology Centre in Kyiv
The Ukrainian Red Cross, together with its partners and with the support of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, is working to restore the Paediatric Cardiology Centre in Kyiv. The building was damaged during a massive missile attack on Kyiv on 8 July 2024.
Restoration of medical facilities in Ukraine affected by the war is a priority for the Ukrainian Red Cross. The Ukrainian Red Cross has been a reliable partner of Okhmatdyt Hospital for many years, supporting various areas such as the reconstruction of the hospital’s facilities, the provision of modern equipment and medical supplies, and assistance for young patients and their parents.
The damage to the Paediatric Cardiology Centre has made it impossible to provide care to thousands of young patients. Therefore, the Ukrainian Red Cross is doing everything possible to ensure the swift restoration of this vital medical facility that saves children’s lives.
We stand by those in need!
