For two weeks, volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross have been providing humanitarian aid to Kherson residents in the form of food parcels supplied by the World Food Programme. A total of 14,000 parcels were distributed to elderly people and those with disabilities.
Despite the ongoing shelling of Kherson, the Ukrainian Red Cross has been providing such assistance to the city for nearly a year in an effort to alleviate the humanitarian crisis.
